AWC-A-102 PLUS Reverse Osmosis Membrane Antiscalant – Broad Spectrum

Advantages

AWC A-102 PLUS is a broad spectrum antiscalant designed to inhibit inorganic scale formation in membrane separation processes.
AWC A-102 PLUS inhibits calcium carbonate scale up to an LSI of 2.6.
AWC A-102 PLUS effectively inhibits formation of calcium sulfate, calcium phosphate, calcium fluoride, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate and silica.
AWC A-102 PLUS stabilizes metal ions to prevent metal oxides precipitation and disperses existing metal oxides/hydroxides, silt and clay particles.
AWC A-102 PLUS has been approved by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for the production of potable water in membrane separation processes.

Chemical Feeding and Control
AWC A-102 PLUS is normally fed continuously prior to the final cartridge filter. It should be injected by chemical dosing pump from a dilution tank or directly from the drum to the feedwater line. The amount of AWC A-102 PLUS required to inhibit scale formation depends on the quality of feed water and operational parameters of the membrane system. The specific control ranges will be specified by the technical representative and can also assist you in determining the appropriate dose rate for your system.
